The Niddrie Traders Association used funds from the grant program last year to paint a vibrant mural to brighten up the streets of Niddrie. It was created by Australian artists Rowena Matinich and Geoffrey Carran.
Valentine’s Day 2017 Valentine’s Day was celebrated in Niddrie on Saturday 14 February. Roving entertainers distributed chocolates & flowers and helped spread romance and good cheer on the day. The Wallis Mall upgrade is well underway and it is looking great with a splashes of colour to brighten up the area. The final part of the upgrade is the installation of the seating. We are very excited and look forward to sharing an update of the finished upgrade soon.
