A Great Night Out. Recapping our Networking Event with Razor Ray Chamberlain

Niddrie Traders Association recently hosted a memorable networking event that brought together members of our vibrant community to connect and collaborate over some food and drinks. We were also honoured to host distinguished AFL Umpire and business owner Ray Chamberlain. 

The evening began with a warm welcome by Hamish Jones, President of the Niddrie Traders Association, who set the tone for an engaging and fruitful networking session. It was inspiring to see representatives from different businesses – retailers, restaurant owners, professional service providers, and health and wellness experts – under one roof, strengthening the bonds of our dynamic community.

The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the much-anticipated presentation by our guest speaker, Razor Ray. Ray gave an engaging and enthralling presentation – covering much of his life but also touching on some important issues – goal setting, mental health and working hard. 

His talk was both enlightening and thought-provoking, prompting questions and sparking engaging discussions among the attendees. Ray was happy to stay on after his presentation to answer further questions. 

Post the inspiring talk, the attendees had the opportunity to mingle, network, and discuss their takeaways from the presentation. The energy in the room was palpable, with many expressing their appreciation for the initiative and expressing interest in future such events.
